Natural Reservation in Humacao

The Humacao Nature Reserve, Efraín Archilla Diez, is the perfect area to spend a day of outdoor activities surrounded by nature. It is the first eco-tourism natural reserve in Puerto Rico. Here you can rent kayaks, they have different sizes and one or more passengers; rent includes life preserver. You can also rent bicycles, it has a variety depending on the size of the person, they have bicycles for two people and chargers for children; the rent includes the protection helmet. They offer guided walks that explain the natural wonders of the reserve. Among other activities you can do is: fishing, jogging or walking along the shore of the beach. One of the most impressive areas is El Morrillo, a small mountain that allows you to see Vieques, Culebra and the windmills “see video”.

Inside the facilities there are bathrooms, a snack and coffee shop and a craft shop. Parking is free of cost. You can usually rent: kayak or bicycle. They are Open Wednesday to Sunday and Holidays.  Rent Kayaks and bicycles. For more information call  787-852-6058.
